  2. It's officially NBA Draft Week! Dave Hardisty and David Weiner discuss the options before the Houston Rockets as they approach the June 26th NBA Draft, holding the #3 pick and the #44 pick. Is it really down to Donovan Clingan and Reed Sheppard? The pair also discuss trade-down possibilities and whether Devin Carter could be intriguing to Ime Udoka. And are the Rockets a darkhorse for a Paul George trade?

    That's sad.

I was at the game where they did a video for her and they introduced her to everyone.

She could have traveled anywhere in the world and met any celebrity she wanted. She chose to come to Houston to see Chandler Parsons and the Rockets. A team that so many Houstonians take for granted. Rest in peace Carly.

Damn, when I saw this thread bumped up, i was hoping this wasn't the reason.

Anyone know if they expected her to go so soon when she met the team? although I've seen it happen a few times, I'm always amazed at how quickly cancer can take someone away.

Hopefully, the team will wear something in her honor the next game.

This, I hope we all remember her as a legendary Rocket's fan. Her resiliency & happiness through this horrible disease was truly an inspiration. She was a kindhearted warrior.

    RIP.

Glad she did get to meet Parsons and the team. But gone way too soon. She seemed to be in such good spirits that day. I remember reading that Kevin McHale got emotional when reporters asked about her after she met with the team and himself in particular.

So sad. I was at that game as I'm sure many of you were since it was Dwight Howard Bobblehead night. I remember seeing her segment on the big screen and I was very touched. Seemed like a great person, and she had genuine tears rolling down her face when she got to meet Parsons. RIP Carly

Props to Parsons, Les, and the whole Rockets organization.

She seemed like such a nice, enlightening person. She's up in heaven right now. Prayers to all family and friends.

Go out and win a championship in her memory, Rockets.

I know it is just the a video and camera and production, but how can you dislike anyone on this team? Even Mchale, with his daughter ordeal, sitting right next to her.

I've never cried watch a basketball game before, but that moment he had with Garnett post-game had me tearing up.

Wow that's terrible news. I'm just glad she got to spend Christmas and New Year's with her family.

    R.I.P Carly!

perhaps the most heartless comment I have read on here .. its not about making the most grand wish or toping other peoples wishes, its about giving someone who lives everyday with a knowledge that what she has cant be cured a day where they forget all that. Who cares how that happens as long as i does! These kids have gone through so much dont sit behind a screen and comment on what makes them happy

I don't know this girl. Never met her in my life. I know she's a rockets fan though. Her story was touching. Glad she was able to fulfil her wish.

I was fortunate to be in attendance at the game she was at. She looked very excited and happy to be at the game that day.

She's in a good place now.
