Taste develops over years...I can't fault you for your opinion. Just realize that many people like the jersey/logo for its simplicity and timeless qualities.
CLASSIC They make things so difficult. As SOON as you see this you make plans to change to it right away. Its got red, the left out yellow "Houston" is written on the front, simple design, the fonts match, it still has a little Asiany look, the yellow doesnt look bad on it.....

Actually I find that black jersey boring. Its played out and unimaginative. I can find way better looking jerseys that don't use black as the predominant color. It's a cop out and plays to the wannabe baddass poseurs.
Well I consider quite the opposite point of view. I like ther Rocket's Jerseys, there is no need to change their special design and they should keep their traditional colors.
I posted on this thread when it launched. I can't believe it's still alive! Rockets jersey's are cool, no need to change ('cept if they got a black alternative jersey).
The problem with the jerseys is that they are too plain to have such a new style. Its either you have classic looking jerseys or you have innovative jerseys. The ones we have now look like something from a 1950's television show looking to the future (2008) of basketball. They look plain and futuristic at the same time. All they need to do is take the shoulders back to a normal width, make the material normal, and have the letters be more classic and bolded. Aw, forget it. We should just switch back to our thowbacks. Might bring some good luck.
Anyone who thinks we can change the logo is kidding themselves. Hmm, our logos are similar, they bought the rights to our stadium, we have a marquee chinese player, china is the biggest emerging market for budget rate commuter cars, toyota makes budget rate commuter cars.... Coincidence? I think not. That, or i like conspiracy theories
Ok, say bad things about me but I actually thought that if we lost the pinstripes and had a more traditional Houston / Rockets on top of the jersey number (with no dildo) that the reviled "pajamas" would have been decent. Or Lose the grey on the current road uniforms and incorporate the Rocket yellow in between the rings on the jersey and the hips of the shorts.
