Agreed. I don't mind our jerseys, but it seems like some teams have different jerseys every other week. I wish we would do more, try some new things (like that cool black and red jersey someone photoshopped). If Dallas gets P. Diddy to design a jersey, why don't we get Jay-z to design ours?
I would rather them go for the modern day throwback look. I don't understand why the Rockets went for such a disastrous change in 95-96. It wasn't necessary, and everything has been downhill since. This new logo though has corporate sponsorship all over it. Think about it, how similar does the logo look to the Toyota logo? See the similarity? Lets just go back to what this city had for 30 years. This newer change trend among other teams are the ones with no true historical value. They don't have the history we do. All the team with any sort of history (Pistons, Sonics, Bulls, Lakers, Celtics, Pacers Warriors, Suns...etc) all have something in their uniforms representing their roots. Not corporate logos.
I like the current uniforms, but like alot of you I would like "Houston" on the road jerseys and an alternate would be nice. The logo and team colors are cool so I guess the only thing I dont like is the font of the numbers. The boxed old computer numbers bring down the uniforms some. I thing that alone would give the jerseys a better presentation
I do think the Rockets need an alternate jersey that is all Black with red trim! but other than that, the Rockets jerseys are badass...
The Colors can stay but the design needs to be upgraded and the font needs to change. I also like the idea of Houston on the front instead of Rockets. Someone mentioned something about the rocket going up alongside the shorts and jerseys. I like that idea.
They will not likely change the front of the jersey's to say "Houston" instead of "Rockets" because Rockets is an easier sell to the international fans of Yao. Deke, & Scola. While the international fans will probably still buy the jerseys if they say Houston on them, Rockets is probably easier to market because it allows for more solidarity even if you are not from Houston. I'm not saying I like "Rockets" better than "Houston," but given Yao and the business-side of the jerseys, it is not likely to change.

Uhh, you do know that the H is the only letter that is actually a capital letter right? what are the lower case letters for ous as in Houston. The only two letters that that are different are the t and n. Did you notice that both of the O's are the same font?
I've got no problem with our current jersey. Leagues better than the **** we had before this current design. Still: This is better.
