So far this season, our assist rate has been terrible...

    1 10/30/2013 CHA 17
    2 11/1/2013 DAL 17
    3 11/2/2013 UTA 16
    4 11/4/2013 LAC 21
    5 11/5/2013 POR 17
    6 11/7/2013 LAL 17
    7 11/9/2013 LAC 21
    8 11/11/2013 TOR 21
    9 11/13/2013 PHI 34
    10 11/14/2013 NYK 14

we were fantastic last season, yet this year the ball just stopped moving... except for the game against Philadelphia which we got 34... what is going on?

    1. We don't run the PNR anymore
    2. Dwight post ups remove assists
    3. Nobody can hit 3's.

    during the philly game:
    1. we did run more pick and roll
    2. Dwight had 6 assist while in the post
    3. no one was hitting 3s except for lin. (lin 9-15, the rest 6-26)

Because we don't hit 3s .... we drive more.... and you do not get credited once there are more than 2, 3 dribbles and drive

Yup. Also important since hack-a-dwight removed many offensive possessions for the games. This and our huge amount of bricked 3s make it difficult to rack up assists.

The ball was moving fine last night. Lin and McHale admitted as much in the post game comments. The problem was no one was hitting their shots from the 3pt line. Only Garcia and Parsons after quarter time hit their threes regulary.
