NBA tolerated mediocre Golden State for many decades. Steph Curry was a lightening bolt that set them off. Before him the NBA didn’t really give a damn about the warriors for a long long time
What else is left? Houston Press? La Subasta? They pay you in groupons. But much success to wherever she goes.
A few of my buddies brought up that Houston has only beat up bad teams minus Milwaukee and has a losing record against good teams. I told them that it’s way to early to be paying attention to that but now I’m concerned lol.
I was thinking about that after the SA loss, but you're right that it's too soon to be a big concern. Not only are the Rockets significantly different from last year and need time to gel (and considering that, they're coming together amazingly quickly), but we very nearly beat two of those teams. That includes the reigning champions, on their energized home court, in the very first game of the season, in 2OT. The Spurs game was rough, but even that one, we were right there with them until the last couple minutes of the 4th. Also worth remembering that three of our four games against good teams were on the road. ALSO worth remembering that three of those teams were... REALLY damn good, it seems. As of now, the Spurs, Pistons, and Thunder have the three best records in the NBA. I know moral victories won't take us far, but yeah, too early to be concerned. And that was a good win against the Bucks, too.
Meh. I think the East has been way better than expected. The Knicks look like legit contenders, the Cavs are up there as well, and the Pistons, Bucks, 76ers, Heat, and Bulls all look much better than most predicted.
The West winning percentage versus the East is the highest it has been in more than a decade. Only 2 of the teams you mentioned have winning records versus the West.
