I read that too but hes been on that list for a week now. https://hoopshype.com/lists/2024-draft-workouts-tracker/
https://ftw.usatoday.com/lists/nba-mock-draft-sarr-risacher-sheppard-clingan-intel-rumors I think this was the source of the Clingan workout. Though note it said "will visit" vs "did visit," so I guess plans could have changed. Edit: here's the quote Personally, not sure it really matters as the info we get from various sources can be conflicting/incomplete. I'm not sure Iko knows all (or is allowed to know all), nor do I think some of these sources who are closer to the agents of the players necessarily knows for sure what is going on. Agents could be lying to them, the team could be lying to Iko, maybe the info was correct at one point but not anymore, etc.
2 days away and the list for Rockets workouts on hoopshype still seems completely bare for players at the top of the draft except for Sheppard. Strange.
You'd think if they were really entertaining trading back, they'd bring in a lot of trade back candidates...
Same here. As they said, there's a couple All-stars in every draft. Just be smart and pick the right guy. LOL
Really depends on the return. I would do a straight up pick with no protections in 25 from the following teams: Washington Detroit San Antonio Portland Toronto Charlotte Having 2 lottery tickets in 25 one from the Nets and one from any of these other teams will almost assuredly get us a top 3 pick and a better chance at getting the no. 1 pick than anyone else in the draft. That is way better gamble than picking in this draft.
