I told you guys we'd be a top 10-15 defensive team. We have the coaching staff, culture and talent for it. There are so many good to great defenders on this roster it was always going to be our way to success. I didn't expect there to be players on the floor who don't give effort on an Udoka-led team. We only made plays for 2-way players in the summer so it was 100% clear Udoka was thinking of building a top tier defense before anything else. We'll finish the season a top 10-12 defense easily. That's an amazing first step to rebuilding this team and its culture. I'll be happy with gradual marginal offensive development if it means the defense is a priority. That's the kind of foundation you need to build to become a contender.
