I actually like what I see. If Morey could just move Martin I'd like it even more.

After watching the Finals, OKC is in need of a lights out shooter... Right?

If Derek Fisher was bought out, why would there still be a cap hold?

did you factor in the mOney NYK is paying for Douglas? Does that go against our cap?

Douglas' salary still counts against our cap.
We received cash considerations from NYK, which goes straight into Les' pocket

Good point by Bima on the sequential offering especially if it is known (or even tacitly agreed that) that NYK will immediately match the Lin offer. Allows HOU to keep non-guaranteed guys and Livingston longer before making a decision.

How does a 43% guy count as lights out shooter?

CH, isn't the final year of Scola's contract partially guaranteed?

I understand if the full amount counts towards the cap, but I thought the final year wasn't fully guaranteed.

    Appreciate the effort.

15 million per year for Lin and Asik is beyond stupid.....

We'll have so much more cap flexibility next year if both Lin and Asik are matched and they just go the full tank route. They are really setting themselves up nicely for a full tank.

That would be the best route imo. I would just wait till next yr,get the high pick, play the young guys, offer max to harden and bynum.

based on your previous post, I added 1b for you. ;) btw: thanks for pointing out that the order of events can allow more flexibility.

If Scola is amnestied and Martin one of the pieces going to Orlando.

What remaining salary are the Rockets required to send for Dwight, J-Rich, Hedo, and Duhon?

Depends on what happens with the non-guaranteed guys, I guess. But, potentially, none.
