yes WE MISS YAO, and now i feel bad for saying we were playing better sometimes without yao.. Mcgrady can't do **** with the line up we had for the first 2 games.. i mean, he is the only one with that midget(brooks) that can create a shot... Mcgrady ran out of gas yesterday and thats terrible for someone that earns so much money dont get me wrong lol but we saw yesterday that tmac is far from finish...imamagine how bad we would rape them with yao
Yes but remember the days when we thought 23 points from Tmac in the playoffs was an off night? I know the game AND am opinionated.....a deadly combo, I agree. DD
hell yeah he is a LOT better than manu is mcgrady is one of those rare guys that makes EVERYONE better on the court there's very few players that can do that and manu isnt one of them
Did you see the game 1, or any of the Spurs last few championships? Or heck, maybe you got to see Manu perform in the 2nd round of the playoffs...... DD
i'm pretty sure (after seeing him play yesterday) that he would have score 35+ points yesterday and would have got that TD! they are doubling and triple teaming him that yao presence is HUGE i miss the big fella..don't get me wrong..mcgrady aint the player he was but he can still turn the switch on like yesterday yesterday was vintage tmac
i know manu is a better finisher...a better shooter, better competitor...but put mcgrady with the spurs and they win 20 championships in a row
I am not so sure, Tmac would take the ball out of Parker's hands....and be a ball stopper for them too. DD
Mcgrady, at the same situation, is either: at the bench crying like a baby, or giving the ball to the referee with no shot attempt.
Nice article! He was tired but the main reason he didn't attack is that Utah doubled and sometimes triple teamed him. The Jazz are smarter a team in that they run 2 or 3 picks for their offensive person getting the ball; while T-Mac gets the ball, a pick is set, then another defender is waiting for him while the other fights around the pick and Scola/Hayes/Mutombo/Landry just aren't good enough to get good shots off and finish. Either way, T-Mac will get the blame (unfairly IMO). This team is missing the best center in the league and it's starting point guard, but after awhile the excuses run thin and someone has to be blamed and as the superstar it will be him. I feel bad for T-mac cause he really is playing his ass off and is a genuinenly good human being, but true basketball greatness just doesn't seem destined for him
Yeah, you and "Copter" are experts. Why don't you write a book together? Maybe Charley Rosen can write the forward.
TMac: Coach, I want to come off the bench. Adelman: You want to what? TMac: I think I am more effective coming off the bench. I'd have more leg in the 4th quarter if you played me less than 20 minutes in the first three quarters. Adelman: Are you kidding me? TMac: No. Actually, what I really want is that 6th man award. That Manu guy won it. And some folks in that Clutchfans site wanted to trade me for him. I want to prove that I'm a better 6th man than Manu.
i dont neccesarily agree on trading him for manu, but trading his ass would be nice. im sick of all this "he can no longer log that many minutes" talk. HE'S 28 YEARS OLD!!! ALLEN IVERSON PLAYS LIKE 40+ minutes a game! and he's 32 and short as hell
Manu can attack "all game long" because he does not play more than 30 minutes a night. It's real simple. If you watched the game you would also notice that the lane closes down completely in the 4th quarter because players are no longer worried about drawing fouls and they've figured out that nobody else on the Rockets will be able to beat them. I find it baffling that you question T-Mac's manhood at every turn while still longing to bring back the world's biggest quitting vagina in Spanoulis.
Your signature is still right i thought maybe that game vs sacramento, he would hit his first. "Tmac for the win!!" BRIIICCCKK
Oh you mean the one where he had Finley, Parker, Duncan, and Bowen on the floor so he had almost no pressure on him? That one?
