Have you been to any of the games this year? The atmosphere is completely different from years past, though I'd definitely agree with you if it was still last season.

Sitting by the RRs against the Wiz almost felt like a college game, which are almost always more fun to attend than any pro games.

I think the problem with Bonzi isn't that people doubt his talent or ability to help this team, but more so his attitude and lack of professionalism (as this is his JOB) that have been extremely disappointing. A lack of respect for the team and organization by refusing to get his act together (which is all we can assume from his complete no-show so far) won't get him any PT, and it definitely won't earn him any respect from the fans and media.

No, not yet this year but I do have League Pass and it just seems like the fans there are on life support for most games. It's kind of funny actually. You'll see Yao or somebody get a huge dunk or make a real nice play followed by the usual 4-5 claps. The funny part is it will be so dead you can hear the opposing defender that just gave up the big play cussing and yelling.

But i'm sure the experience is much different in person. I haven't made it to any Rockets games this year but I do fly for free and have made it a point in the past to make it about 3-5 Rockets games a year despite living in Pittsburgh.

If you watch games on TV it's totally deceiving. The one portion of the building that isn't full at opening tip is where (mostly) season ticket holders sit and that's the part that gets on TV.

I live in Little Rock and got League Pass this year because I'm pumped about this team, (aside from the Bonzi controversy/confusion). But I was in town last weekend and went to the Memphis game. Wow! The crowd was going strong from the opening tip, and for the first time in 4 trips to the Yota, I didn't think about the Summit.

I like the energy at home & the rocket rowdies was a good idea, though I was surprised how small the section looked in person.

Oh, and for all of you out there who toil the way I do living out of town, league pass is great. But if you can't afford it or just didn't want to buy it, I've hooked up the most recent game on my MySpace page. MySpace is kind of cheesy, but I've turned it into a little Rockets palace w/highlights and a link to the most recent full length game.

Right now you can watch the T-Wolves game, but it may go dark soon. The next will be the Cavs game. If you like it, let me know. If you don't, let me know.

Let's be real here. No matter how loud the rowdies are, 70 people can not make a stadium loud, when there are still 17,000+ people around.

(offtopic. I have to say the designers at MySpace suck. I don't use MS, b/c most of the myspace pages I've seen look horrible. not talking about this particular pdf)

Have you actually been inside the Toyota Center this season ? If not, just stop talking. It was very loud last week when I went.

What is the worth of a player that does not play? IMO 1million is way over priced...hell 1 dollar os over priced in Bonzi's case...at least for now.

maybe not the rowdies alone, but i feel like their energy gets the rest of the crowd going. like i said, their section (not the whole arena, sorry if i was vague) felt like a college game and i had a lot of fun.

the rest of toyota center is a totally different world than the rest of the lower bowl that you see on tv. the lifeless business execs that own season tickets there aren't really a reflection of the rest of the arena.

baller4life, when you make it out to a game this year i think you'll see a pretty nice change from last season. hope you can make it out there soon :)
