Why the blue hell does this crap pop up over and over again?

We aren't shipping T-Mac anytime soon. Deal with it.

Of course, right after TMac's triple double, any sort of trade would have to bowl Morey over; and what trade could be out there?

I mean, in the past, when CD was at the helm, we'd trade for a player who just burned us for ONE game. Glen Rice, for example. TMac comes back and gives us a triple double and nearly a second. So, no, no Tmac trade.

Who was the last player to win a playoff series?

Gasol couldn't win a playoff game before teaming with Kobe.

KG did :D. in due time my friend. now everyone's on his jock.

a player doesn't win a series, a team does. KG's career perfectly exemplifies that.

Just like a lot of us! I have a hard time supporting a guy who has lazy work habits, is not a self motivator, is a bit sensitive and emotional, and plays passionless. He has great skills but I'd rather move on without him, I have a hard time supporting a guy like that. IMO he doesn't even deserve to win a championship and I'm a bit embarrassed to call him a Houston Rocket.

BTW, he did play well last night. Gotta give him props for that, I mean, it's awesome he's had his 4th career triple double but in his umpteen years in this league. How long will it last? How long will he play this way? Hopefully all the criticism has put a fire under his a$$.

The Rockets send out a press release stating that T-Mac will take a week off and then rehab by playing limited minutes. T-Mac shoots them down by stating that he's going to be taking three weeks off.

I think it's possible that the organization is fed up with T-Mac. What happens from here on out is anybody's guess. If McGrady wants to stay in Houston the best thing he could do is keep his mouth shut and concentrate on getting his assist numbers way, way up.

Its part of the business. Kobe was all but guaranteed to be shipped from LA at the start of last season. Look how far we have come from then. Lakers are the favorite in the West and Kobe is untouchable. If T-Mac has a good stretch of 1-2 months of near triple double numbers maybe even 20-7-5 then he becomes untouchable. Its like the stock market, you have ups and downs and only fools tend to sell low on a commodity like Kobe or T-Mac.

i think this is where all this commotion comes from:

    Time to trade T-Mac

    Saturday, December 13, 2008 | Print Entry

Posted by Brian McKitish, Special to ESPN.com

If there was ever a time to try to rid yourself of Tracy McGrady, it's right now. T-Mac returned from a seven-game absence Friday and nearly posted a triple-double with 24 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists, 2 3-pointers and a steal. In other words, his numbers mirrored those of the T-Mac of old. Notice that I didn't say this was the T-Mac of old, because that guy is long gone, my friends.

McGrady is averaging just 16.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.4 3-pointers while shooting just 40.7 percent from the floor on the season. Those aren't horrible numbers for an ordinary fantasy player, but they are a far cry from the old T-Mac. Add in the "chronic" knee and back injuries, and McGrady is almost more trouble than he's worth in fantasy leagues. We used to put up with the injuries because he would come back as an elite fantasy player and average 24 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.5 3-pointers. But T-Mac can't do that anymore, and the fantasy community has finally grown tired of the injuries and depressed statistics.

That puts McGrady owners in a tough situation. They desperately want to get rid of him, but he's too valuable to drop when he's on the court and most trading partners will not touch T-Mac with a 10-foot pole these days. Perhaps his near triple-double will be able to fetch you a decent return? You probably won't be able to get what you want for him, but it's worth looking into because McGrady is not going to return to the glory days, and he's almost certainly going to get injured again this season. In fact, I'm setting his over/under on games played at 55, and I'm taking the under. That said, if you can't find a taker, you'll have to hold onto him and hope for the best. On the flip side, if you're a buyer in the market, don't let some crafty owner try to convince you that T-Mac is back to form. I know it's obvious, but it has to be said.

Yes, that's why I wrote "I think it's possible...". In other words at this point it's just a rumor--but in my opinion it's a credible rumor. Given the T-Mac injury controversy and the ticker at the Chronicle I think it's possible that the Rockets are unhappy with McGrady.

So how the hell can he tell whether T-Mac will be back into the Old Mac or not? From what perspectives he viewed,he jumped to this BS that says T-Mac's washed-up and no longer valuable on the floor even he's been put up monster numbers and a triple double night.

Future isn't written in stone yet,he just thought it would be like that, then why the hell did he put up and post on line? Just tryna get the f-ing attention?

P.S.Throughout 3 games since he's returned,he's not wearing any pads on his knee and shoulders, which should be a good sign saying that T-Mac's getting healthier and better day by day.

No credibility whatsoever. It's your speculation (and possible wishful thinking? Why is it that you continue to show up with the same angle?) What injury controversy? Maybe it was a controversy to the fans and media, but the Rockets wouldn't call it that. Frustration? Yes, but no controversy. The chron.com editors deciding to put up an injury ticker has absolutely no relation to the Rockets management's feelings of McGrady. Come on dude.

Do you want him gone, especially after seeing the Nuggets game?

T-Mac should concentrate on being Oscar Robertson for the rest of the season. He's got the passing ability, and in Yao Ming he's got an awfully big target in the post.
