If Green was the sum of his last 3 games he'd already be a star lol

Allegedly the Nets turned down 2 1sts for Dorian Finney Smith also

Nets would be stupid to not take Green for Bridges straight up.

One is 21 with a much higher ceiling.

The other is 27 on a team that has no chance of contention.

    Report is clearly BS.

You never know. I want to keep Jalen Green until the end of the season, and then to reassess him.

Still someone they can let develop for the next 4-5 years when the team is ready to contend for the playoffs.

Bridges is 27 and likely reached his ceiling on a team that will never contend for the playoffs. Make it make sense.

They went all in with Durant and Harden and failed miserably.

I wouldn't trade Jalen for Bridges straight up. I don't think the Rockets would either despite Bridges being a better fit for Houston now then the Nets and Green being a better fit for the Nets as compared to the Rockets.

Nets have no use for Green. They got a better player that draft with Cam Thomas. They don't need a backup.

Right, and the idea is we already have the stars now that are developing. Having a lock down defender who can shoot 40% from 3 is helping accomplish their development.

Even if Green turns out to be the better guy, they are very similar, Cam is not as fast but a better finisher.

That is a lot overlap and they have to put effort into trading Cam Thomas and that is a step back.

There is zero chance the Nets would do that but it would be GREAT if they did.

I assume you'd trade Green plus the picks for MB.

I would not trade the picks but would trade Green in a heartbeat. Unfortunately there is zero chance the Nets would make the trade for Green alone.

Uh, trade for a backup with a starter?

    I think they would pass.

Love arguments that involve some hypothetical that hasn't happened.

    Why even respond?

Zero? Why Zero. Green actually has a high ceiling if he finds consistency.

Bridges prime is a fringe allstar.
