With the Lakers losing at home to Indy, the Rockets are now in the playoffs. Lakers go from 7th to 9th.

We have less losses than the Lakers which is awesome.

Although I admit I root against the Lakers just out of principle, this is borderline irrelevant to us. LA will make the playoffs, end of story. The true teams to hope get kicked in the nads (gnads?) are Portland, Memphis, Dallas, San Antonio, and Minnesota because those are the teams we'll be competing against for seeds 5-8.

I can assure you the Thunder and Lakers will be guaranteed in the playoffs on star power alone. Clipps and Nuggets are also almost locks. San Antonio and Dallas despite their reputations are more realistic targets due to the fact that both of their franchises have one foot out the door in terms of looking forward to their next regimes.

Why does this even matter early in the season? It's not like the playoffs start tomorrow.

lol at people who thought lowry, gasol, and nene would be good.

Kobe, Gasol, and Bynum are worse than the current Rockets of Scola and Martin.

    and

    Kobe > Lowry
    Bynum > Nene

With Houston at 8 and Minny at 10, do u think Minn would be more enthusiastic to trade with us for Martin or Bud for future picks, or Williams if it helps them jump some spots? Just want some opinions.

Patterson, Lee, Parsons, and Buddinger are probably all better than almost anyone else on the Lakers (discluding Gasol and Bynum, of course) except for maybe McRobertson.

Regardless, I love this current Rockets team, and absolutely want to see them make the playoffs.

    Bynum best big man.

Triangle offense is what they need to be running. You have two big men but kobe takes all their shots.
