    but JFYI.. the Golden State win (at that time favored by the media as the better team) was a big one.. before that, as Yao put it, Golden State was a team we could never seem to finish off.. Which was the story of the season for The Rocket's up to that point.. Good 3qts, terrible 4th.. The big turn around started after that win.. if I recall correctly..

    as for the Mavs game.. Mavs without Dirk? Rockets without Yao. Not to mention the biggest offensive spark off the bench for the Rockets, Landry, was apparently hurting that game.

    Should count NO twice.. since they were soundly beaten by double digits.. twice.. One with Yao, one without.

    Like Adelman said, the West plays the same schedule....if 19 is not a big deal then why haven't other teams done it? I don't see the Dallas Ponnies getting out of the 1st round either. How many championships do you guys have?
