I wish the media would go back to dogging the Rockets... for some odd reason I felt better because it was "us against them". Now I feel a jinx coming on.. but I will break out the chicken bones, rabbits feet, and the blood of a virgin ox to prevent it from happening.

Imagine if Yao is still playing for the rockets! If this teams go deep in playoffs this year (or win the whole thing!) Next year would be much better.

Interesting that this is the first ever #1 ranking for the Rockets in the history of the ESPN power rankings.

No what im saying is our offensive efficiency has picked up and our defense has not even budged. This is saying alot about the defense especially who we just played 3 teams that like to run and gun in the last 6 games. Mutombo and Hayes is the biggest part of this i think. People need to remember that transition starts with great defense unlike the other run and gun teams who will just try to out score each other. This is why we have been blowing out the other fast paced teams. #1 in rebounding rate is vital as well because we are actually playing transition defense.

Crap! The ESPN Power Rankings are a jinx! Cross your fingers that the Rockets don't lose any games this week.

Rockets #1 on SI, NBA, and ESPN

Well, here we go, Rockets are now #1 on the big 3 Power Rankings. I knew that folks were taking notice, but not like this.

I forgot to mention...the Rockets defense is incredible and is one of the many reasons for the blow out wins. People probably don't talk about this but it is the defense that got me excited while watching the Rockets beside the explosion of offense. They just play with a lot of energy.

The Rockets winning streak is a fluke and there is NO WAY the Rockets
will make the playoffs. They are just kidding themselves....

...hope this reverses the jinx! :D

    Yeah lets keep it going...

Tracy McGrady has never advanced from the 1st round and he doesn't elevate his teammates game with his indivdual talent. Dallas is better than Houston eventhough they don't have Dirk.

The Rockets have no heart and it'll be yet another first round exit this year. No team with Rafer Alston at point guard, led by Tracy McGrady, will ever amount to anything in the NBA.
