    Watched the video. Mari Carmen said she hopes it becomes a "fixture" of the museum and Houston which could only happen if the thing is refabricated multiple times (unless she just means something the museum is known for?).

    The materials are suspect and are already breaking down. Even in cold storage the tubes would not last. In exhibition with audience interaction the lifetime is much shorter. At the end of the day, this is an ephemeral installation.

    Coolest thing in the MFAH.

    Unfortunately, don't know how long it will last because there were a bunch of little kids running around and tugging on the pipes. Watched my friends walk into the middle of it and they just disappeared like they were walking into fog haha.

    The best part is standing in the center and its pretty similar to standing in a white abyss a la the Matrix.
