You win the the turnover battle and limit the penalties, you should win all most everytime.

WOW Coogs going to SEC land and winning on the road is a huge step for the program. Road wins at OK St and Miss St this year will go along way to establishing UofH as an non-BCS power.

Wow congrats Keenum for tying Andre Ware for 3rd most TD passes in school history!

Next up, Klingler... then Karl Kold!

If he decides to take that step, Sumlin's future is in the NFL as an offensive coordinator.

    Victory Formation!

Darn UTEP screwed the Coogs this year but finish with 1 loss and it would be nice to beat up on someone in the Liberty Bowl.

Probably. Missouri and Auburn are almost certain to drop out.

Great job of coaching by Sumlin. Having the troops bouncing back after losing to a bottom level team like Utep. @Tulane and Home for SMU nxt 2 games. We should be sitting at 6-1 heading into Tulsa. I guess the media put Clausen ahead of Keenum in the Heisman chase.

I agree, my only concern is that Miss St probably has little to no respect even after almost shocking LSU and the pollsters will probably hold the UTEP loss against us bigtime. Hopefully some more upset happen and we can sneak back in there.

That was a costly win ... as if our run defense wasn't bad enough, we lost a starting nose tackle to injury.

Great job by the Coogs, and I'm glad the OOC portion of the schedule is over because they look like they wouldn't survive against a team that can deliver a balanced offensive attack ... not if they continue to give up 8+ ypc every Saturday. I hope they can dominate the rest of C-USA well enough to at least earn a very respectable top 25 ranking by the end of the season.

Nice bounce back win for UH. I thought UH would lose after getting embarrassed last week. Once again, their rushing defense was deplorable but Miss St.'s passing game is weak fortunately for them. Didn't LSU barely beat Miss. St? Hmmm....

    Sumlin is no dummy.

    He fixes problems.
