There's no fines. I'm pretty sure alot of NBA players would decline too if they lose a game 7. Who tf wants to talk?
That's how a champ reacts to losses! Badass! https://www.insider.com/photo-diana-taurasi-breaks-door-after-wnba-finals-loss-2021-10
So losing money, then. It is hard to watch WNBA and know they are using a smaller ball - it just makes the game so much easier. DD
didn't we play with smaller balls in middle school? those were the days. wnba never graduated from middle school.
Houston has a large lesbian population and statistically they are extremely likely to be supportive of the WNBA. I suspect Toronto will get the franchise though.
The NBA was giving an average of ten million dollars a year to the WNBA through 2018. It is a very small amount for a league (NBA) that brings in nearly seven billion dollars annually in revenue. Having said that, it is true through 2018 it (WNBA) was losing money. However since then it appears the league may be making as much as fifty million in profit. The viewership has also grown greatly and the prognostication is very positive. The NBA wanted to make sure it had control over the women’s game when it became popular and it has done that in the USA.
I am pretty sure the Government is paying the WNBA players, the leagues doesn't seem like they have much revenue in ticket sales, merchandise. WNBA should've been out of business years ago, Feminists don't even know WNBA or players
