I'll plead ignorance on the acronym, but I don't see that Nook discriminated against any protected class, or that this employee was even a member thereof. Also, assuming this didn't happen in the two quarters or so, I'd think the regulatory statutes of limitation for any legally effective complaints would have passed.
When you "marry" someone, you make a covenant to God. My problem with gays getting "married" is that no covenant with God includes something that God specifically disallows. Gays can live together and get all the same benefits as married people -- I have no problem with the benefits. Just don't call it marriage, as that perverts the institution of marriage.

What is deeply troubling to me is the promotion of the homosexual lifestyle in the media. Media coverage for the notion of being gay is probably 99% positive. It's clearly being used as a wedge issue by the Democrats. Not because the gay population is large, but rather because the number of people who sympathize with gays is large. When all else fails politically, pulling the "Republicans hate gays" card is where the Democrats have turned recently. Notice the timing of Robin Roberts announcement (on the heels of A&E's reversal on Duck Dynasty after the public outcry)? Strategic. Hating gays is the liberals latest attempt to have a career ending weapon. Claiming racism is the first attempt, and that is raging as strong as ever these days. The liberals tried to end Phil Robertson's career with the "gay card", but it boomeranged on them. This is all part of a political manipulation game by the liberals. Dividing and distracting from issues and 5 years of failed policies is the goal here. Watch for yourself -- the next time Obama is in hot water on issues or suffers an embarrassment, watch for a race or gay issue to dominate the news cycle shortly thereafter. Their attempts at manipulation are like clockwork. And you all are just blind followers. But back to the point, how can the homosexual lifestyle be a positive thing for people? It's clearly not. Life expectancy for gays is far shorter than for heterosexuals. STDs run rampant through the gay community, as does HIV/AIDS. And the greatest joy in life, having a child with your spouse, is not available to gays due to obvious physical limitations. Why is popular culture and the media trying to push this pernicious lifestyle on us? The deterioration of the moral core of America continues... How's that working out for us (rhetorical)?
If your concern is with the "homosexual lifestyle" -- and specifically the high risk of STDs -- shouldn't you be an advocate for gay marriage? Much less likely gays will have multiple sex partners in that case, right?

It was meant to track paternity of a particular woman's children, and to relieve her father from having to support her financially.
