    mchale should be a big man asistant coach instead of a head coach. he should have been hired soley to teach our power forwards and centers postup moves.

    Sorry, Jesus wanted too much money, besides he insisted on hiring all TWELVE of his disciples as assistant coaches. It was never going to work out.

    Thoughts...

    Anyone who thinks this was mostly DM's decision is being naive. Les is way too hands on.

    Anyone who interprets this as a plan to "tank" is demonstrating ignorance. That's suggesting that Les would be O.K. with that mentality. He's too passionate about winning.

    Despite the fact that the news conference apparently hasn't happened, I don't think the Chronicle would have ongoing articles if it was in question.

    ... and it's better to try to find the positives once the die are cast:

    Kevin unique hire because he hasnt coached much but has had success in the NBA. Think he'll do a good job. Rockets dont need turning around. They'll pick up from where they left off. If Yao, knock on wood, can stay healthy, they can jump from 43 win mark to 50 win mark.

    Probably wont have much luck getting an answer. Even if one asked, you'll probably get a generic answer if you know what I mean.

    "Yeah, we'll explore all our options. We know center is need, we'll look when the time comes. Will mention the uncertainty of the CBA and how they cant talk about it, but are in good position to spend or trade once resolved, yada, yada, yada." :)
