Comparing HS players with NBA all-stars, we all know how this pans out. Sebastian Telfair was supposed to be star. Remember the CJ Miles hype? Gerald Green, Eddy Curry *cough*

If you try to judge NBA talent by watching HS mixtapes you'd think every draft has 20 superstars.

 

No way in the world. I've watched the Harrison twins several times (all the way back to 8th grade) and will do so again during their senior year and neither guy is a lock for the NBA. I can tell you Aaron needs a lot more toughness. If you get physical enough with him, he'll back down. Not so much with Andrew.

I'm curious how much they will improve as seniors. Supposedly they will announce their college choice early in the Fall.

BTW, I don't know what the setting is in the video, but there is little defense being played. Things weren't so easy against Elkins, Hightower and Bush this past season where teams went after them. Don't get me wrong: Those guys are great HS players but I'm not sure how well they translate to college.

 

Both of them are leaning heavily to UK and (hopefully) will be the centerpiece to the best recruiting class in the history of college basketball.

Looks like another national title for my cats in 2013-14.
