the rockets are just tanking to raise the value of their picks so they don't have to include gordon. once they get butler for knight+picks jeff bzdelik will come out of retirement and we will go back to our 15 game win streaks.

 

Why do we always want dysfunctional players so badly? And why are we so quick to trade or let walk anybody who sacrifices for the good of the team? Always trying to put together a 2K roster and never a team.

 

Eric Gordon just look awful this season . Knight might actually be the better player if he can get healthy

 

Well he isn't a superstar and he won't be to be the first option, plus if he gets here i think he'll be the 2nd option behind Harden since he is better scorer than Cp3

 

bc Morey (as well as many CFers) only see the stats and they get all infatuated with the star power and visions of trophies start dancing befoe their eyes... while undervaluing the guys who do their job without much glitz or glamour - or drama... if i had a nickel for every time guys like Trez were called a 'scrub'...

they just dont realize that "new p***y dont know how to cook!" lol

 

Rockets should just do Eric Gordon + 3 first. Brandon Knight is almost back, and you have a scorer name melo off the bench right now.

 

I want Gordon gone anyway... he's reached his peak with us.

 

Let Ego go and get JB to Houston ! Ego has looked really bad the first few games. Butler is consistent where Ego is streaky ! Plus Butler doesn’t scream on every play

 

I think EGo is missing shots on purpose so that he dont get traded..he loves rockets..

 

I,agree that New Orleans would say no. But Morey is an opportunist and it is for certain you will miss 100% if you don’t even make an attempt.

 

Adding JB to the team means the draft picks are worthless or have very little value. So therefore, the four picks are not appealing at all. If i am Minnesota, i would want the four picks starting 2021 + Gordon.

 

What is wrong with some people??

Adding Butler not only covers Gordons productivity (and then some), it gives us a legit large wing defender.

Melo can come on and jack up shots as the instant offence off the bench guy. But you don't NEED that guy as much when you have another legitimate 20ppg guy already on the team...

Stagger the Harden/ Paul/ Butler minutes and use Melo as the spark plug. That is a ton of scoring/ creating.

 

The window to win is now Cp3 isn't gonna get better he is gonna get worse. Also both Harden and Butler are in their prime so if you can get him you are looking at 5-7 more years of dominance from those two and then they'll be at Cp3s current level. You do it and don't look back those first rounders will all be low picks anyway.

Nah. You make them pay 2 1sts to dump Dieng and get Gordon.
So you deal with Houston only sending out the 2019 and 21 picks.

 

Well my thinking is that tyus Jones and a second rd pick is probably worth a future protected first.

Just gotta think about what offer they would take I would love to steal butler burn gotta he realistic.

 

Morey doesn’t want to be hurtful to Gordon and flat out go and trade him. He wanted to throw a dumb offer that will get declined, then be like “see Eric? We tried not to involve you but we have too, sorry pal”
