Lots of 3s = lots of variance. Lots of threes by only average 3pt shooters = more variance. More variance = lots of drastic lead changes.
Well, I kinda echo what others say, it is basketball. On the defensive end, we seem to play the passing lane a lot, quick to rotate - recipes to force turnovers. We like to run and have the best finisher in Harden. With Harden, and Josh to some extent, we even charge down before the defense sets. However, these are not enough to sustain our lead once we have it. Good teams will execute not to turn it over, limit us from charging. Once we are locked in, we rely on too much one on one Harden ball, and that's where the trouble begins. Kinda goes back in need of another player maker and/or a real starting PG.
this. why is it hard for us to accept leads ebb against good teams? no doubt a lack of a playmaker is a major problem, but even the best teams in nba history lost large leads many times during the reg season
