Houston has interest in Greg Oden

I figured Oden would wait until Winter and sign with a team for their playoff run. I guess he really wants/needs the money.

And I'd rather have Camby. Oden's body is going to break down again, it's only a matter of time.

Oden seriously should go to Phoenix for the sake of his career.

 

Would be interesting if we get Aldridge and Oden(healthy). That's the frontline the Blazers envisioned to be their future a while back. After the ROY fiasco and them stealing him from us(another blessing in disguise) this would be kind of ironic.

 

Minimum wage flyer. Just like Marcus Camby, Aaron Brooks, Reggie Williams and Omri Casspi. You'd be lucky to find one rotation player out of 4 or 5 of those minimum wage signings, but it'll be worth it spending money on all the failures if you find one success.

 

Can Oden play baseball or football because the Texans or Astros would be the only Houston teams that would be interested in him. Ridiculous story IMO.

typically though, he has shown quite a large amount of potential, its rare for someone to grow far beyond that. But I wouldn't be surprised.
