That's your typical Mavs fan, they'll jump off that band wagon first chance they get!

Sat. nite was by far the loudest I'd heard the TC, even louder than the playoff series vs the Mavs and Lakers

Im a bit worried about tonight. I lost my voice Saturday, and what little I have left will probably be gone after the 1st quarter tonight.
I might to bring the drum I bought at the fan shop a season or so ago but I know it will severely annoy the people around me because I beat that thing like Ike did Tina.

Get some cough drops, throat spray, whatever you need to. The beer will take care of the rest. My voice is at 85%, but I'm not going to go soft in Game 2. You've got an entire week to rest before the next scheduled game - take some laryngitis for the team!

Yea i watched the game..it was pretty loud!!

But the loudest arena i'd have to say..with good fan encouragement had to be in Toronto, everyone was wearing red, and screaming every second of the entire 48 mintues.

I'm in Toronto, and a raps fan too, but I found it kinda cheesy that our fan's colours was exactly the same as the nets jersey colour!!!

hahahah it seemed kind of awkward at first, but really thank you guys for giving toronto fans props. we were pretty damn loud, especially considering that we werent playing very well (our defense was HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE). mustve been the VC factor

You guys gave him the business - that was awesome to watch, especially cause it was getting to him.

wasn't enough tho... wasn't enough. problem is with nets, we cant just shut down one dude. but it did feel good seeing him on the bench with 25% shooting and 4 fouls :D i gotta admit tho, he single handedly took away the confidence of some of our best shooters with a couple of his blocks on jump shots.

ehh i don't know. I had a hard time hearing the announcers in the DenverSA game. THat could be due to any number of things...The point is that you can not make definitive conclusions by how loud it sounds on tv.

They adjust the mics at the game as they see fit. It's how they make it seem more dramatic at the end of the game.

you cant really, and it isnt because they feel the need to adjust how loud it sounds.

it is because the mics the announcers use are designed to not pick up extraneous noise,a nd if you dont put mics specifically for crowd noise, there isnt any way you can judge the crowd noise by what you hear on TV.

but I gotta say....the Toybox was LOUD LOUD LOUD.

the chants were echoing back and forth thruout the arena, we would scream DE FENSE, and a second later I could hear the opposite ends chants coming back at us.

FSN does a good job of adding in crowd noise tho...they are much better about it than the national guys. That is hardly a surprise tho....the only advantage the national have over our guys is HD...our announcers are better because they actually know about the ROckets...they are with them all the time, so they know the real deal, unlike the national guys who see maybe a handful of Rockets games a year.

then....FSN normally doesnt relegate the game action to a tiny box while they chat about their fancy graphic like TNT/ESPN/ABC do.....you will never miss a minute of game action on FSN...

that alone should make it the broadcast of choice for the diehard ROckets fan.

i could have sworn i heard me say defense on the fsn feed. in our section i would start yelling defense and then everyone would. it sounded like me, but oh well i dont know. for my own sake i'll say it was me.

it was real late when i was watching heyp's tivo so who knows. but it did sound loud and better than the games i saw yesterday, esp the dallas game

as good as that game was, we're gonna be louder tonight.

r2k you gonna make it to tonights game2

I think I am in the mionority here, but I was in section 427 and it was the worst section ever! You would have through you wer at a funeral or something. Hardly anyone cheered, and I got told to be quiet and shut up countless times. The lady next to me was even closing her ears!!!
Hah, maybe my scream is just really annoying :) I hope the Game 2 atmosphere is better. Thanks!

I think Toronto was the loudest.

Houston might be second, not sure though.
