I'm heading out this afternoon, looking forward to Voxtrot and Of Montreal will of course be pure fun as always.
Good times yesterday. I was impressed with Octopus Project. I loved BSS, I've wanted to see them for a long time, but disappointed they were only given 60 minutes. I've heard lots of stories about their 2+ hour sets. Explosions was good as always, but did anyone else notice the sound get scratchy about half way through the set? Excited about Wild Moccassins, Voxtrot, WMMF and Of Montreal today.
Didn't make it out yesterday because I went to Green Day (AWESOME SHOW), and with the weather looking like ****, I doubt I'll go today
People were waiting in line for 3 hours to get in if they were waiting to buy tickets. If you had an email confirmation with you, (paper, or just show them on your phone) you could pretty much get right in. The concession lines were pretty lame. But the security level is also low enough to the point that everyone was just passing coolers of beer over the fences.
Jesus, what time did you go? Brightside said there was only a line for will-call, but not people buying at the door. Hoping it's not that bad since I was planning to just walk up and buy a ticket.
There are actually two different entrances. One line had like 150 people in it when I showed up at 5PM yesterday. The other line had about 100 people. But when I walked up to the front of the line and asked the ONE PERSON who was giving out information, she told me that there is a separate line adjacent to the big line that is for only buying tickets. At 5PM there were only about 10 people in that line whereas the Will Call line had about 100-150 people depending on which line you were standing in. But of course, no one is really working outside to tell you what is going on, so you just have to ask other people. So if you are buying tickets today, I don't anticipate much of a problem. If you see one line has too many people walk around and find the other line. Don't just blindly stand in a big line, as there usually is some faster route if you actually find out what is the procedure to get in. It just kinda irritates me that people in Will Call who bought in advance are made to stand in a longer line than folks who buy at the gate.
Cool, I might stop by so we can discuss the greatness that is In-N-Out. I'll be the tall guy with a shaved head wearing an orange Of Montreal shirt. Would love to chat with some fellow CF'ers.
theres a fence at the end thats easy to sneak into, did that yesterday, plan on doing that today too, bout to leave in a bit ! we should have a clutchfans meetup
