Obviously the ESPN guys need to go back to the SNOW in the north. Morons, I would kill to be in 85 degree weather, with or without humitity.
This place is at least 60% UK. Reliant will be empty Monday if they lose tonight. And the UCONN student section isn't even half full.
i'm assuming it's necessary to get the same feel in such a big place...for football it needs to capture a larger space that fits better inside a big stadium
It won't be empty. The stadium is going to be full no matter which teams are in the championship game. The ticket holders of the losing teams will simply sell them to those who are still looking for tickets. (Which is a huge amount of people)
Not surprised to hear that. The resale market for Monday's game won't be very good if UK loses tonight. If they win, resellers will make a killing.
I feel bad for VCU...they had a bunch of shots rattle out of the hoop and have been a victim of one-sided officiating in the paint during the 2nd half.
Steve Kerr, an awful player, an awful GM, and an awful announcer. He has said nothing except "no call" or "if VCU hits this free throw it's a __ point game" repeatedly throughout the telecast.
Words cannot describe how I feel right now. Last year was a truly magical ride. For Butler to make the championship game again is incredible. Now, for the game most people really care about.
And they also made bad decisions and missed good shots because they rushed them...tough loss for them, but they just got rattled in the end.
VCU had one heck of a run though... a few more of those threes rattle in and they would have taken this one to the end. Barkley has picked UK all the way through this tournament, and so far he's been right. Pray God, he's right again!
I meant no to Kemba, he's something, but not someone that I want to spend a high draft pick. My Cats need to make a few shots in a row, they are playing bad defense because they are down from missing shots. Either that or they need to focus on defense and let the offense come... somethings got to give them a boost.
Dont worry, regardless of what Kentucky does im sure they will get their season voided sometime in the near future.
