    Honestly
    I really don't care
When the Oilers Left. . I was ANGRY ., .. I WAS BITTER
I did not watch football for like 2 seasons
    I slowly came back
When the Titans came up one short. . NO ONE CHEER MORE THAN I

    I began to heal.
I became a Fan of the NFL in general no team in Specific
When we got the Texans .. A glimmer of hope came back
[tentative hope . . .once bitten twice shy]
I watch from the formation of the team
    [Texans???? BUST-CELLI???? DAVID CARR???]
I was intrigued but not enthused
Over the last fire years. . .
nothing has fostered and nutured the embers of fandom in my heart
In some cases have gone above and beyond to stomp it out

I am not a Titan Fan
I'm a Proud VY ONLY FAN
    THAT GUY IS FAN-TASTIC!!!!!
    He is a HomeTown HERO!
    He is an INSPIRATION

    It's almost not worth it.

Some people will never understand why some of us choose to follow a guy who truly embodies everything that Houstonians stand for and constantly WANTS to represent the city as opposed to a team who merely plays in our city for 8 days each year.

    right on rocket river!
i'm not a titans fan. and ive never recovered from losing the oilers.

VY was ready to run through a brick wall for his hometown if we would have him.

we haven't seen the last of VY. he's our brother, our neighbor, our fellow Texan. this is his city. "Texan" fans are going to have to get used to seeing VY the mega-monster superstar for years to come driving into town like he knows every turn. Houston is not an away game for VY.

    Also, VY's career is young.

We're looking at a very small sampling of games here.

He's had about 3 good performances, not statistically, just good in that "winner" sense, so far.

Beating the Texans isnt a major accomplishment. This wasn't the superbowl.

Lets just keep that in perspective for all those on suicide watch.

The may yet come when VY wins a superbowl or sets some kind of records or something, but it hasn't come yet, and remains to be seen whether he will truly be successful in the NFL.

The Texans franchise isn't dead in the water either, but the Carr era is officially over.

Both Mario, Reggie, and Vince may all prove to have hall of fame careers before its all over.

"truly emobodies everything that Houstonians stand for" - he's an athlete not the second coming.

"a team who merely plays in our city for 8 days each year" - kind of excludes all the mini camps, training camps, preseason, practices, community functions, charitable functions, etc this team does right here in town. This team is as much of a part of Houston as are the Rockets and Astros and Dynamo and Aeros and Coogs and Owls. A team in its infancy yes, but still a part of Houston, and they need some love too; tough love will do.

PREACH! Seriously though, how can you expect a team to play their hardest when their fans are booing them for making the smart decision (at the time) to let the clock run out when back in the Traitor's endzone.

Casserly, Kubiak, and McNair squandered an incredibly rare chance to do the right thing for this team.

I am glad that all the blind Texans apologists are starting to realize what I knew back before the draft. Well, at least some of them are. Some of them are still having the same ignorant defiant attitude that we have seen since the draft. How long will it take for you sheep to admit the Texans royally screwed the pooch?

Also beat the Colts. Two of his losses were by one point. Look at Travis Henry's numbers pre and post Vince. Titans defense is still dead last statistically.

Look at their supporting casts. I'll take Andre Johnson and Moulds over everyone on the Titans.

First of all the teams around VY and Reggie are phenominally better. There are virtually no holes in NO there are some defensive liabilities for the Titans...as for the Texans there are way too many holes. NO and TEN have running games...the Texans do not. VY and Reggie haven't done anything special up until recently. So give it til next year b4 you start spouting your 'I TOLD YOU SO' lecture.
