It's not that I don't have love for Augie or the team...I just don't have love for baseball. I'm glad when they win, because it makes the university look good, but I don't think I'll ever go to a game or anything. The only reason I'm an Astros fan is that I grew up with them. I'd go to a preseason Rockets game over an Astros playoff game(Though the atmosphere at playoff Stros game is pretty awesome).
What, no Comets option? Rockets by a hair over the Astros. Then Texans. Then Comets. Then KC Wizards (sorry Dynamo fans, a high school friend plays for them.)
UH Cougars Astros Rockets/Texans tied for 3rd All are close enough that I would probably base viewing decisions on the relative importance of the games. Would watch a Texans game over an early season Rockets game since there are only 16 of em. Would watch either of the bottom two over an Astros game without playoff implications. Will always follow a University of Houston Football game even if its just a radio broadcast.
