Cheering for the Texans is like being with a girl just for the sake of being with someone. The Oilers will always be my true love, and if they offered to take me back I'd drop the Texans in a heartbeat. I can't quit you Oilers.
Oilers - I grew up in East Texas and the only Houston sports team I could watch was the Oilers. Every now and then the Rockets would be on NBC and I could see them but it wasn't very often. Dynamo - They lose points since it's just their second season, but I can actually afford season tickets and the atmosphere at games is great. The players are also pretty down to earth and you can sit around and have a conversation with them. Rockets - They brought championships to Houston. Texans - It's painful being a fan and their still fairly new.
I love all my teams... luckily I don't have to choose between them very often, since they pretty much play at different times. Obviously, my heart will truly be affected by the team closest to "winning it all", since that's the time when your emotions definitely get tested the most (in playoff situations, etc.). Right now, between the three, I'm not sure who is closest. The NL sucks, the western conference is as tough as ever, and the NFL is as unpredictable as it comes.
1) Rockets 2) Longhorns 3) Astros 4) Vince Young 6) Argentina 7) Elsik Rams 8) Boca Juniors 9) Rice/UofH . . . . . . . 10) Texans
Yes, it's a good thing none of our teams go far enough into the playoffs to cause conflicts like that.
If you're the kind of person that would take someone back after that, I guess you can't choose who you fall in love with. Those of us who would never dream of taking that person back can.
Roxans or Texkets . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Astros - I want them to win for fans who love them personally I think baseball is broken ATM
Oilers - Married girl leaves you and stomps on heart and changes married name. Texans - Ugly girl that becomes pretty over a summer, new love, hope springs eternal. Titans - Have nothing to do with anything
