Hello to everyone, I've been reading this forum ever since Dragic came to Houston, although I never registered or posted before. Kudos to Houston for having a great fan base and all of you for a great forum. Thank you. That said, I've noticed with all the talk about Gogi lately a lot of you (especially one with a Venezuelan ex-HR player's nick ) have been having a bit too much fun with the Slovenia jokes. I understand it's just (offseason) fun and all, but can you guys tone it down a bit, please? Trust me, no Slovenians (including Gogi) appreciate it. I get most of you think Slovenia is some backwards eastern European country where they have no food and the president just got the first flat screen TV and all (I know, I know, a Dynex ), but it only shows ignorance on your part. So here is your chance for redemption (and trust me, a much better signal to send to Dragic than a new iPad). Show us some Slovenia love! Post some Slovenia pictures, facts, whatever. Just to show Gogi you care enough about him to actually take a couple of minutes to find out about where he is from. All posters get full amnesty!

It's really not that much of an issue. With all the Dragic euphoria these last few weeks, though, I've noticed quite an increase in the Slovenia is Kazakhstan jokes... My point was simply to try to educate a few posters and to keep things positive.
Slovenia does look like it has some absolutely stunning, gorgeous scenery, woman included if you like. I was not quite a teenager in 91, so have vague memories of the events that led to the creation of countries like Slovenia, but the memories are vague and distance and my young brain wasn't able to comprehend their importance to those living in the area. To think it's been 20 years already. I look forward to visiting one day.
