I will travel to H-Town from Austin for both playoff games this weekend. I go to at least 5 games per year live and as many playoff games as I can. And, I can attest to the fact that the overwhelming majority of fans who show up for games are not anywhere close to as passionate as Utah or Portland fans. This saddens me. More than once, I have been asked by other fans to sit down and keep quiet. I respond with a resounding "f*&k you!" I sincerely hope that this does not happen this year, and that us good fans will outnumber the meek suit & tie contingent. Make it a point to be as loud and red as possible this year, people. Prove me wrong, please!!
I have a ticket plan, and I can say that the last 5 or so home games, the fans have been much more enthusiastic, and they get loud when they need to. Also, playoff games are VASTLY different than regular season games. I think the TC will have its roof blown off in Game 3 (especially if we come back home up 2-0....even if we don't though).
Look, say what you want about Rockets' fans during the regular season, (very well warranted might I add) but it's a completely different arena during the playoffs. The two game playoff games I went to in the past few seasons were unbelievable. Everyone was into and cheering the entire game. I was shocked and I found myself wishing it was like this the entire regular season.
I love BDog, THE JAW! Rox playoff games vs Rox regular season games are lightyears apart. The energy at playoff games is amazing, the way they run the show is breathtaking. I can't wait to get my hands on some playoff tickets, what are the prices, anyone?
I went to the Spurs game in November and some old guy told me "Do you mind?" I was standing up and cheering like crazy most of the game and I was pretty outraged when he told me to sit down and not cheer. I turned around and told hey man I paid for these sits and if you don't like it go talk to the usher not me. Dude just got pissed and didn't say a word after that. See I don't care if fans are going to be sitting down and not cheering but please don't take that away from me. I'm sorry that you took a risk and bought tickets behind a crazy ass fan sitting in front of you. I can't help but be excited at games so they can shove it up their ass if they are going to complain to me about that.
