Houston didn't make it for 2012!

Maybe Houston should try to get a Winter Olympics host bid...

Wolff said Metro staff expects to recommend a route by Aug. 8. Metro President and CEO Frank Wilson said Metro hopes to obtain federally required environmental clearance for the line by December 2007, begin construction in June 2008 and have the line operating in December 2012.

 

i thought they were going to hold another vote with an "alternate" route that stops at greenway and then shifts to westpark?

so their just waiting to break ground then?

is that why their putting pipes in around weslyann and richmond? or no

Don't worry, It won't get resurrected again until four years from now when Houston gets shot down for the 2020 Olympics...
