Hmmmm There were some pretty good national team players left available by a couple teams, but it seems the dash didn't take of them
I wanted o' hara. I have a feeling we 're going to get Morgan somehow. Her and ohai plus sesslemann; not bad looking strikers. Not bad at all..
I'm just asking is the NWSL salary cap for the Dash the same as the Dynamo/MLS salary cap? I think that's why they did not take any of the other teams' best players who are left unprotected. They don't want to go over the cap limit.
I'm going to take a stab and say that NO WAY are they the same... come on, man... football is far from a rival to other sports... no way would MLS rival salaries of other sports, much less NWSL. MLS Salary structure: http://pressbox.mlssoccer.com/content/roster-rules-and-regulations Not shockingly, last year's salaries: http://www.stumptownfooty.com/2013/4/12/4217340/nwsl-player-salaries-are-shockingly-low

I think the Dash didn't take O' Hara because per the rule of the expansion draft, if you take a National team player, you cannot take another player from the same team and Sky Blue FC had too many good players that the Dash wanted. The Dash took Brittany Bock , who played for Waldrum, then Danesha Adams from Sky Blue. The same thing with Rachel Buehler from the Thorns. The Dash took Meleana Shim and Becky Edwards instead.
