Thanks a lot If we win that game we would have played Michigan in the Sugar Bowl and I think Sumlin stays.
Sumlin stays for the Sugar Bowl, but that's it. He's gone after that. Grand scheme of things, that game mostly just cost us (and the conference) a bunch of money.
Coogs will be playing in the Ft. Worth Bowl against Oklahoma State. Hopefully without Levine as coach.
Spoiler <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Per sources in Houston, Tony Levine will not return as head coach <a href="http://t.co/sNnVtz3C1h">http://t.co/sNnVtz3C1h</a></p>— FootballScoop Staff (@FootballScoop) <a href="https://twitter.com/FootballScoop/status/541664238062686208">December 7, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Saw that earlier, waiting for a (more) legit source. Berman, stop covering the Texans and tell me Levine is toast!
I would expect the Coogs to go after the biggest name possible in order to elevate the program in hopes to moving up to a power conference. That is of course if Levine is gone.
More leaks. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>I've heard players have been informed at Houston that head coach Tony Levine has been fired. Matt Jackson on twitter hinted at yesterday that Doug Meachum could be the new UH head coach if Levine was gone.
