First off I am an "old alum" and have been following UH since '68 and that is why I do care about the schedule. I could care less about beating teams like Tenn Tech. This out of conference schedule next yr is one of the worst I've ever seen them have.
Cougar fan all my life (though my degree is actually from UHCL)...But this schedule blows. The "marquee" home game is UCF. I think Tenn Tech is because we needed a game and we have scheduled Texas Tech for the future...but this is pretty unimpressive considering with all the starters we are returning we could give a top tier team a good game.
I think Mack Rhoades is mainly a fundraising guy. They recently hired the athletic director from Coastal Carolina to be "associate vice president and chief operating officer." http://www.myrtlebeachonline.com/20...athletic-director-yurachek.html#storylink=cpy
Ohhh nvm that was for 2015 & 2016- http://www.fbschedules.com/2013/10/...hedule-2015-16-home-and-home-football-series/
Houston baseball takes the Silver Glove tonight to sweep Rice in all 3 major sports for the 2013-2014 academic year. tl;dr - hooters pwnt by coogers brah lolololol

http://www.uh.edu/news-events/stories/2014/April/0421Cullen Between May 12 and Aug. 15, sections of Cullen Boulevard are scheduled to undergo major rehabilitation. This process will entail replacing sections of the street’s concrete on Cullen Boulevard between Elgin Street and Wheeler Avenue. Panels of concrete will be broken out of the street. New concrete will be poured and allowed time to cure. The result of this intensive process, Krueger said, will be “significantly improved street conditions.” Another positive outcome will include enhanced pedestrian accessibility at key intersections.

We are close to buying out the game vs Tennessee Tech this season and replacing it with UNLV. That would be much better even though our OOC would still be bad. We would play them before having a bye week against UCF.
