Interesting. I thought for sure we would redshirt O'Korn. Next Friday cant come soon enough. Excited to see OKorn make his debut!!!
QB Bram Kohlhausen has left the team(transferred to LA Harbor College) Can hardly see it but the season opening depth chart
Levine realizes his job is on the line this year and thus he'll play whoever he has to in order to win. If O'Korn has to play so be it.
Its dumb to burn O'Korn's redshirt if he isn't going to start. I don't get the logic in this, and with the way Piland played last year if he doesn't show some serious improvement O'Korn should be the starter by game 4.
O'Korn will start on Saturday. http://www.chron.com/sports/cougars...t-career-start-against-4827574.php?cmpid=hpts
Sucks that Piland got hurt, but it would have been a good decision for Levine if if Piland was healthy. Just start the guy who has been the most impressive and it's certainly O'Korn. I can deal with his mistakes since he is only a freshman, but he will improve.
Headed to San Antonio for the game against UTSA next weekend. It should be a lot of coogs there from what I am hearing.
How many people were at Rice-Houston game the other day? I don't have access to Google. Banned at work.
rice crowd was pathetic...i'm glad we aren't going to be playing them anymore, they actually have a pretty good team this year and their fans still didn't show up
If UH does play Rice in the future I hope its never at Reliant. The game draws much better when its in the home stadiums.
Agreed. Liked the turnout that we had...it's sad when southern university had more people at the game than rice did. anyway, is anybody going to san antonio for the utsa game? me and about 49 other people going.
A win over Memphis won't really help that cause...but a win over BYU (especially if lopsided) will slightly raise a few eyebrows and might get us a few dozen AP votes. It's the teams following BYU (Rutgers, UCF, Louisville and Cincinatti) will be the ones that would definitely get UH some attention.
Oct. 19th game against BYU is at 2:30 and will be on either ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU. My bet is it will be on ESPN because OSU plays Iowa at the slot and OU plays Kansas at that slot also.
