He probably figured his draft stock can’t get any higher. Smart move.

So are we at a point that we can poach from a G5 school?

It feels like watching Necessary Roughness every week. The Armadillos did get it together for the last two weeks of the season, though. Keep hope alive.

Man I miss Bill Yeoman. Class act, cared about the University and it's fans.....Tillman has no one to blame but himself on this one!

It's OBVIOUS Dana is in it for the money

Holgi is as opposite as you can get from Bill Yeoman. Unfortunately we are stuck with Holgi for the next couple of years then mercifully it will be over and we can rebuild. If you think it's bad now, wait until we get to BIG 12 next year. Thankfully we have UH basketball to look forward to. There we have a coach with the ability to motivate and inspire and build a successful program. Too bad Holgi falls far short in every way of the standards set by Yeoman back in the day and has no clue how to do what Sampson has done for our basketball program.

If yall had held onto Major for another year you could have poached Leipold from Buffalo. That guy is impressive and has Kansas(!) playing like an actual football team.

I don't really know who the up-and-coming coaches or coordinators are.

Yall could always bring BoB back to town.

I can't bring myself to watch my DVR of the game because I know it is probably FULL of crap like this.

I feel like how well your WRs block is always a good indicator of how well coached your team is, because it's one of those signs that the staff pays attention to the smaller details. It's not 100% necessary to have good WR blocking, but I've never seen a great team that didn't have it.

If he can’t be fired, move his office to a storage room. Start fining him every time he yells at the assistants, players, and fans during games. Yelling at referees is fine. No more free Red Bulls. Too expensive. He can get those on his own if he wants. Provide him with Wal-Mart brand energy drinks. That’s it.

That would be like poaching from Houston Community College which was founded once "the University of Houston ceased to serve its original purpose."

Poach from the track team and run like usual. The Cougars have always won with speed. So I still like our chances so long as coach recognizes where we have always had the talent advantage.

The difference between these two couldn't be more stark.

A consummate professional and beloved father figure, versus a sloppy degenerate whiner.

    Here's a fun game.

Take a drink every time a Cougar football player celebrates a play that is either inconsequential or results in a penalty.

Caution: eat first and hydrate appropriately

I’ve noticed this and also guys getting tackled and making the celebratory first down signal when they’re not close to a first down.
