Kids awesome but is injured a lot. Will be bad if his body can't hold up because if it did he'd be playing on Sundays later.
The schedule is easy, but think they walked into that record last year half assed and backwards, so think they come back to earth, I'll predict a disappointing 8-4, 9-5 with a bowl win. Tune looks the part half the time, solid, strong arm, good footwork, and then he falls apart when the pass rush gets under him. He has the tools to turn the corner and do some David Klingler like stuff, but he's never shown me he can get over the lapses.
8-4 would be a big miss considering how soft the schedule is and how many upperclassmen we have. I think we get 10+ wins and then poop the bed in our first Big 12 year (5 wins or fewer).
Case has made over 44 million, which given his near complete disregard out of college is phenomenal, however, it still feels like he hasn't gotten a fair shake. The challenge in Buffalo will be can he handle the weather if they have to count on him in December. That' tough. But he's a quality backup for a team with superbowl aspirations.
That one season in Minnesota will always be magical, especially the end of that playoff game against the Saints. At this point in his career, I just hope he gets a Jeff Hostetler opportunity. Not hoping for injury, just that he’ll be ready if it occurs.
One of the GOAT human beings. It was pouring down rain here Friday and I was headed to Atlanta and I told my wife I could pull out my lucky red ponchos. I haven't used them since he slapped 73 on Rice. Just remembering that day made my day.
there is no deal. stadium is too big for us as is and it's less than 10 years old. my guess is that some games against tech, baylor, and byu will draw to capacity but we will generally see attendance hover in the high 20s/low 30s for the most part. the latest developments are that tdecu signed an extended naming rights contract through like 2036 or something.
Fertitta Center already isn't big enough and TDECU won't be either. A large state of the art facility housing both down the road seems to be in order.
