Matt Rhule took out a full page ad in the Philly newspaper thanking Temple and the fans.

Meanwhile, Tom Herman tweeted out a screenshot of a notes app on his iPhone as he dumped his university furnished car at the airport.

Might be a dumb question: What is OB?

The guy says "I say this because a person who works with him at OU and in the past has said that wherever Riley goes, they go...just informed my wife they are moving..."

Riley no longer up for the UH job. Per Joseph Duarte.

Any 3 of those guys I'd be OK with as long as their buyout was basically 200 billion dollars

Makes it sound like Les is out as well?

As the Houston Chronicle first reported, Oklahoma offense coordinator Lincoln Riley is no longer in the running for the Houston head coaching job, according to a source. Houston's search is now focused on the two in-house candidates, defensive coordinator and interim head coach Todd Orlando and offensive coordinator Major Applewhite, as well as Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin. The Cougars could have a coach named by the end of the week. - Jake Trotter

I would have no problem with Orlando. In fact he's been my top choice from the start.

Curious as to who his coordinators would be? If he gets the job would Applewhite stay?
He definitely helps with their recruiting.

If Orlando isn't offered the job he's headed to Whornville.

Whoever the new coach is I'd like them to consider hiring one of the top Houston high school coaches to his staff (Gary Joseph/Katy for example).

My problem with Orlando and Applewhite is that Herman already gutted the rest of the staff.

I'm not sure Orlando can rebuild his own staff from scratch just yet.

That's a valid point Donny, however I'm sure how he would build his staff is one of the things they'll take under consideration on who they ultimately hire.

Channel 2 reporting Riley was "hesitant" on buyout amount.
