All the power to him to choose which school he wants to play for, but I can't say it didn't make me feel better to see this report (for lack of a better term/expression) after his aunt talked down on UH for no real reason after he signed with Florida. Very big of you to say such. Many other more boisterous, biased, and obnoxious posters won't do the same.
If UH moved into a P5 conference, it would probably justify a stadium expansion 5ish years down the road. TDECU can be expanded to 60k.
The moment ink hits paper on the Big 12/UH relationship TDECU would be on target to expand to 60K by the time the first conference game was played.

Why does Houston continually reference they're in the "fourth largest city in America"? They use this line so often that it's almost like they're overcompensating for something else.
Because there are many that don't realize how large Houston is. They think Dallas is larger in population. D-FW media market combine is larger than Houston. Houston will be the 3rd largest city in about 10 years (passing Chicago). They are emphasizing there is plenty of potential bodies to fill seats and increase TV ratings.
There is also a lack of knowledge on how big the student body of UH is. It is top 25 in enrollment. It has changed the commuter school perception and has more beds on campus than any school in Texas. By contrast......Central Florida is the 3rd largest school in the country, however it has almost no shot of getting into a Power 5 right now because of: It is a commuter school and its athletics are not very good.
