http://www.chron.com/news/article/TV-radio-notebook-Most-of-state-will-see-2263324.php ESPN says Houston is one of seven potential sites for the Nov. 19 edition of College Football GameDay prior to the SMU-Houston game. GameDay has not visited Houston since November 2005 for Southern-Grambling, which was moved to Reliant Stadium after Hurricane Katrina.
Now the that the "preseason" is over, the regular season begins for the Coogs: SMU, Tulsa, Southern Mississippi, Bowl Game. The rubber now meets the road. Will the high powered offense continue to roll? Has the defense improved enough to keep from getting blasted? Can they run the table? It will be difficult.
Maybe this deserves its own thread, but the UH Communications Director just tweeted that the Houston Campus will host ESPN College Gameday with the usual suspects next week for SMU. Hold on to your blunts! A bomb is going to go off in Third Ward next Saturday:
The tweet has been deleted... I'm guessing ol' Rich figured out that this was perhaps not the preferred method of breaking the news. Still... the deed is done. Welcome to Scott Street, Ms. Andrews.
There were some other options for them. But in the end, Erin Andrews could not resist the opportunity to be so close to me. She's gonna look a little worn out during the broadcast guys, but I'll make sure she gets to the show on time.
Come on Boise choke on your hideous cobalt field. I don't mean to sound like such a faygele, but their color scheme is also dreadful as folk.
Tied at 28 after TCU 2-pt conversion. TCU can win this game, they just need to keep their cool and not make mistakes.
