So what? He really hasn't done a whole lot as to why we should really play him or give him extensive minutes. The Rockets won't win a championship, McGrady will be out of here next year, and so as DD has said before, the emphasis should be on developing our young guns like Brooks and Landry.

Regarding this move? Whatever. He's out of here next year, and I really don't care too much about how much we play him at this point. Give his playing time to Taylor, I guess.

Who cares if he helped us win games or carried the team when Yao was out. That is what he is GETTING PAID TO DO! There is a reason that Rockets are paying $20+ mil a year, to win the games that we need to win! Does your boss (assuming you are employed of course) praise you for doing your job? Of course not, he's paying you to work! You can win without stars, what the hell do you think the Rockets are doing right now? Also, you are assuming that T-Mac is still a star. Right now and last year what we have had is a weak player (both in body and mind) coming back from an injury which leaves very few players the same, trying to dictate when and how he plays. You know what employers call workers like that? The business world calls those type of employees dead weight.

Here is the thing. T-Mac use to be a scorer and a star since he had amazing talent, but he was never a winner. No matter which team he played for, T-Mac has NEVER WON WHEN IT MATTERS! Every team he has played for, he quit on them, burned bridges, and took his act elsewhere. Rockets don't need this selfish, lazy, POS prima dona. They need someone they can count on in the 4th consistently as well as someone who has your back in the foxhole. T-Mac needs to go and that is the best for the team. I feel the same way about Yao as well, but I can't hate on Yao due to his hard working, loyal, and honest character.

That is why you NEVER have even a 0.0000001% chance of running a team.

How is this good management? Treating your employees badly?

Again with the insurance fraud conspiracies. T-Mac doesn't love the game as much as you give him credit for. That is why he quits. He quit in Orland and he quit on us last year. Hopefully when the Rockets show this quitter the door in the end, he can take you with him...

Yep. They need to follow D'Antoni's example in NY and just bench him if they don't want to play him.

What also bothers me is that those 7-8 minutes can be critical. If TMac is struggling, it could cost us some losses.

Because if I do things that antagonize a guy with a known history of being a distraction, I'd rather not keep him around my team? Whatever.

DD, you should consider not refering to everyone who disagrees with you as a "t-groupie" "t bunny" or whatver you're using lately. It's getting just as bad as the battier vs gay arguments where if you thought the trade was good move you're automatically labeled a battier lover or a battier-hater if you felt the opposite way. Sometimes it's not about the player, but the situation itself.

Also, you get behind daryl and adelman a lot when it's convenient for you. When they do something you agree with, it's all about "in morey we trust"...yet morey is the guy who lowballed von and rick and ademan are the guys who cleared tmac to play when you though he didnt' deserve it. That's what makes you look like a flip flopper to other posters and then you got the nerve to call them a t-bunny when they point it out...

As for this development, we'll have to wait and see. At this point we can't be sure there's a trade or not, or even that they're actively trying to trade him. This could simply be a case where it's becoming a distraction again and they just wanted to ease up on it until they get past this tough stretch in the schedule. We'll see what happens or what they decide once they get back here.

in 8 minutes! He's only taking 4 or 5 shots a game! Half of those are drives to the basket! And you're complain that he's not driving enough??????? You want him to drive every time he touches the ball

WTF? And that makes me a lover of t-mac? I've probably been a rockets fan before you were born kido.

I can't post on here anymore because I'm getting angry. But you folks who hate t-mac so much will get what you wish.

Just be careful what you wish for.

You hold managment and players accountable, you set guidelines and rules....

And when one of those employees is a prima donna and has no concern for the rules and consistently undermines managment you have no choice but to deal with him appropriately.

The irony is that I think if Tmac would have shut his yapper, and played hard he would have forced them to play him more minutes.

But, instead, a guy who is shooting .368% is demanding more minutes......and going to the media to make his case.

This is just typically idiotic by Tracy, because at the end of the day he is sealing his fate........and not proving to the rest of the NBA that he deserves a contract.

He needs time on the floor to get:

    Confidence
    Rythmn
    And his timing back

He will NOT get it by whining to the media....and he is too stupid to realize this.

    Oh well....grab some pine bub...

And, what in that article showed he wasn't humble? I thought his response was as diplomatic as one could say, because right now the Rockets organization is creating the distraction.

The main reason for not rushing back McGrady was to "make sure" that he wasn't in and out of the lineup. Now the ROCKETS are doing that. It's clear the whole six game stretch was a showcase, and now that it's over, they don't want him. Now they should trade him, because if this continues, McGrady won't be as diplomatic and all hell will break loose (in terms of the media, here it already has with trolls like Anti Sonic, Carl Herrera and DD).

Can both sides just move on PLEASE? Because this is just getting annoying now. If we want to over analyze the situation, we could think the Rockets are forcing McGrady's hand to ask for a trade, and make it look like the Rockets obliged that, when their motive from the beginning was the same.

You need to read more often...I said Morey did the right thing with Von by looking to get him for a value contract.

I agree with Morey almost all the time......

As for them playing Tracy, I think with the injury, why not see what he has left...and now we know...not much.

The T-bunny or T-groupie thing is just a slap back at the moronic people who call others a hater.

    Tit for tat.

shutup you idiot. I don't think there's been a player that openly complained about playing without causing problems. What it essentially means is that the player does not feel the coash is right. That is enough for people to hate on him.

    Are you serious  ;)

I trust Morey and Adelman, if they feel this is the right thing to do let them do it. Do you think this is the first time Adelman dealt with a player like T-MAC  Always remember IMWT In Morey we Trust :p

Rockets are not treating their employees bad. Do you see anyone else on the team complaining? All of them are having fun and playing together as a team! The organization is simply treating one insubordinate upstart has been star that is trying to tell the coach and management how the team should be ran, just like any other normal employee and the prima dona is throwing a hissy fit.
