This will hurt our image as a team. We can't go down to the level of McGrady just to pay him back. This will look bad as an organizatin.

Prior to this latest development, you actually thought that McGrady would be back NEXT YEAR?

    This whole scenerio stinks.

If you don't play him, trade him.

    This is a circus.

I believe we should take our losses with McGrady and just cut all ties by either trading him or buying him out. Just too many distractions around the team.

every superstar is a prima donna (lebron, wade, kobe). they have played at a high level so those teams let those guys control the show. tmac hasn't.

and the team doing this only brings unnecessary drama. remember, they said when they bring tracy back, he will be back and won't miss any games. now they're sitting him out??? again, they're doing the same things tmac did last year. 2 wrongs don't make a right. again, if no trade comes as a result of this, it's going to get ugly. this better lead to a trade.

but whatever, i'm ready to move on and i'm sure most fans as well. i hope tmac the best at his next destination though.

Do you recall last season? Where we took the NBA champions to a game 7? WITHOUT Tmac? We will be fine without the selfish clown.

I don't understand how some people are so convinced that tmac is going to help this team win a championship. that **** boggles the mind.

Rockets never do things like this, you know. Like firing Rudy T, deep freezing Bonzi and Steve Francis, dumping Stromile a year after signing him, doing Artest "dirty" for not offering him a deal, lowballing Carl Landry, etc.? This kind of stuff has really hurt the Rockets ability to acquire talent, no?

It's part of the business of basketball. The Rockets do it, the Lakers do it (just ask Ariza and Odom, as most recent examples), everyone else does it.

    Wait, what?

I thought you said Morey and Adelman were not in agreement.

Come on Lou, you are a smart guy, I know you hope Tmac will come around, but at some point when you are hit in the head enough with the same piece of wood you learn to duck.

    Hey Lou....DUCK !!!

And I am glad the organization is doing this the distraction of all the press asking TMac questions, and Tracy answering them truthfully (I don't necessarily blame him here)....is bad for the rest of the team.

They have shown the league he just needs time to get a little better, and he has shown some of his skills....

So, now....it is time to play the best players, and right now, he is not one of them.

Adelmans out to get t-mac, he knew t-mac would get frustrated and complain to the media, so he can make morey think he's a distraction to the team :(

i doubt we can get a trade right now that we like. i think they're worried t-mac's comments are going to disrupt the team spirit/chemistry.

Ugh, either trade him or play him. This ridiculous back and forth is making our management look almost as dumb and unprofessional as Tracy did last year.

Believe it or not but there are still many rockets fans who believe Tracy can come back and help this team. They were willing to deal with these distractions but this new "checking out McGrady with 7 minutes" BS is going overboard.

Those fans are just naive and are not seeing the big picture.

The team no longer needs a low percentage volume shooter to lead them....they have moved on....

    Good job Morey........
