well sports radio 610 lost another listener john lopez has no buiness on 610.

 

this pretty much seals the deal for completely not listening to the morning. not that i did much anyways.

Are Matt and Rich still going till 7pm?

If Wexler isn't going to be on in the morning, I'd at least like him to be back on at 6 pm ... otherwise 610 is useless to me.

 

I just can't believe that someone actually wants John Lopez, I thought 790 wanted to get rid of him. 790 just got a lot better. 610 morning show is now going to do even worse. 1560 still owns the morning. Hope Matt and Adam get rewarded for all the crap at 610.

 

What happens to Wexler now? He'd better at least be back on the nightshift.

 

610 is blowing up right in front of my face. I actually like that station but with all the recent changes, who cares. They are going out of their way to not talk about sports now.

 

I've noticed that. Matt and Rich do that whole segment when they talk about some stupid story. I guess that's where the research leads, frat guy talk?

charlie is still the man, and for whatever reason my favorite 610 guys (by far), wex and matt, don't get nearly enough love from the execs.

John Lopez is horrible. He made a career out of arguing with people. I could not stand to listen to their show. I would turn on every now and then to get the local vibe instead of Rome, and regretted every time. For 2 years his whole thing was basically Vince Young sucks, call in if you got a problem with that. The biggest douche on radio.

 

I've given up on sportsradio. The only time I listen now is briefly on Monday's after Texans games.

Maybe if the Texans flame out and there is more focus on the Rockets, I'll give it another try. But the thought of listening to Marc Vandermeer and John Lopez talk about the Rockets is laughable.

 

I've actually enjoyed Wexler in the mornings.

Maybe I'll finally go off the deep-end and join the 1560 cult and become a ferret weasel or yaw yaw whatever the ****.

 

The program director at 610 must be a complete f'kin r****d. Seriously. You pick the absolute worst guy from a competitor and bring him to your station. You just made yourself a hell of a lot worse and strengthened your competitor by taking that pile of crap off of their payroll. What's next? Fire MattJ so that we can have Russ Small and Rich Lord in the afternoons? 610 should just go ahead and give up. Seriously. They are imploding.

 

If 1560 could get Wexler and MattJ to join them they could go ahead and end this thing.

 

well, to their credit, they didn't get craig roberts or brad davies (even though i'm pretty sure i heard brad one morning with vandermeer a couple weeks back).
