I agree it will be a tough series. I hope we can get home court. We need every advantage we can get. If we can get by Utah without anyone getting hurt- this should be a great confidence booster for this team. I hope we can win these two regular season games we have with the Jazz!!! Go Rockets!!!!
i respect Charles' opinion.....with key guards going 2-17 at home what do you expect?? They also have a better record than us. Hopefully , we can prove him wrong.
it didn't matter if we were goign to play Memphis in the playoffs, Barkley would have said that the Rockets don't stand a chance....so NO I DO NOT respect his opinion...the guy is entertaining but he is not that knowledgable if you really listen to him...he just gives opinons based on his biases....he can't stand the rockets becuase Yao has made him look like an idiot....all he does is compare everythign to Jordan, Bird, Magic and himself...every conversation and breakdown he does ends up back to the old school Nba.....if you have a damn job as an anaylst, study your mateiral and back up your opinono with some facts....FAT A$$

I don't tthink I was old enough to have any distinctive memories about Barkley on the basketball court. Did he ever do anything in the NBA besides spitting in a little girl's face in Philedelphia and winning on championship because he was traded to the Rockets at the end of his career?
Barkley was a good player, real short PF but with amazing quality's. He brought the Suns to the finals, but lost from MJ. No he never won a ring. Charles is ringless he came a year to late to the Rockets. At the end of his playing days i saw him as buttman, he just should have stopped and started his comedy/dumb/sometimes good analyses on TNT a few years earlier.

*stoking the flames* Chuck just got done reiterating just how much we are incapable of beating Utah on Inside the NBA tonight. Kenny added that he found our game last night against the Clippers "troubling." Those guys hate us.
I guess this is the de fact "Inside the NBA" thread. I would like to say this: JVG's idea about reforming the lottery is getting A LOT of play in the media. I thought it was going to be one of those things that gets written up in the local papers and maybe gets a couple breif national TV mentions (after all, ESPN has to fill so much time everyday and TNT can't just show photoshopped pictures of Sir Charles the whole time). But, no. Every show on ESPN seems to be talking about it, and now they take a good chunk of time on the subject on TNT!
I really hope we beat Utah when we play them.. I just want to see what madame Charles has to say afterwards.
What kenny said tonight was understandable. the clipper game wasn't pretty at all. Especially for a team that is looking to "dominate" the jazz like he said the other night.
