I used to think, "oh its charles, he doesn't know crap, but he is funny." Now, he just aggravates me to no end. He is really an idiot and I am tired of his antics.........he is negative about everything and looks like at any given moment he is going to either nap on the broadcast table or start eating a donut.
I actually really appreciate that he puts the Rockets down. I've noticed that Houston seems to lose its intensity and focus when the national media is praising them. They, particularily Tmac, play better as an underdog.

Guys, Why hang him? I don't agree with all his remarks, but he seems honestly said what he believe. He answers tough questions straight, apparently he don't like Rox and Yao, it's normal isn't it? If he flip-flop, nobody will believe him.
Doug Collins is the worst commentator??? He is BY far my favorite along with Hubie Brown. They give so much insightful comments that you learn more about the game and makes you think.
I wonder why he loves the Jazz so much. Every chance he gets he's saying they're finals contenders.. and not just this game.

I'd like to point out that not only have we beat Utah once, Utah and Houston (being in different divisions) don't play the same teams the same number of times. For instance, Utah only has to play Dallas 3 times, while Houston has to play them 4. This could easily account for the fact that we're about a game back, not to mention we were missing 25 and 10 for 32 games..
I've listen to Doug Collins do local talk show interviews about the NBA and he's the biggest Yao Ming homer ever since he came in this league.From the moment Yao stepped on court, there really is no bigger fan in the sports commentary world than him.
And by the way, don't you think "Charles hates Rockets" = "Dog bites man" ? Chron editors should not take "Charles hating Rox as news tomorrow!!
charles can say all he wants about the rockets not being elite b/c honestly we havnt proven anything yet i just love charles and how he keeps it real as do most people heck hes the reason why anyone tunes into Inside the NBA
The Rockets played a horrible game tonight. He would have been more forgiving (just a little bit) if the Rockets played better. Indiana is really terrible, I had not seen them this year, but it is a shame this game was so close till the end. Fact is, Barkley is entertaining. He says the first thing that comes into his mind, which is usually not very smart, but funny as hell. I hate him, but it is fun to watch.
