more like chuck 2 and clutchfans 1... and besides he said that we couldnt beat them in the POSTSEASON... totally diffrent We are a WAY better team than the JAZZ ... trust me, i know this loss hurts but still were better
Last time I saw the Jazz play us @Toyota Center. Memeh Okur went Robert Horry on us. We got to do something about that. Also, I fear the PG matchup. Just make TMac the PG! PG Tmac SG Luther
no we are not WAYYY better than the Jazz. the jazz are a GREAT team with crisp ball movement. they also have the biggest mismatch for yao in okur and deron on rafer. our only advantages are yao and t-mac but who knows when the hell t-mac will show up. oh and boozer had one of his poorest games of the season dont expect that again.
Williams vs Alston - Huge Advantage Jazz Fisher vs. Tmac - Huge Advantage Rockets Kirlenko vs Battier - Even Boozer vs Hayes - Huge Advantage Jazz Okur vs Yao - Huge Advantage Rockets It is going to be close.....the teams are fairly evenly matched.... DD
While Okur can't guard Yao in the post, Yao doesn't seem to be able to contain Okur from shooting those 20 footers. I would rather Yao guard Boozer.
It doesn't matter how our players fare individually. It's about team play and execution. We know they can't stop Yao, but we also can't stop Okur's threes. I don't think we can stop Deron and Boozer's pick and roll. Fisher can defend T-Mac well enough. Boozer will have field days against Hayes and so will Deron with Rafer. The only SURE thing we have is Yao getting buckets. That's all. We don't know when T-Mac will show. Oh I forgot one more sure thing, Rafer sucking as usual.
The Jazz are a good team, and they have their strengths exactly where we have our weaknesses (PF/C). Interesting how that works, huh? It's going to be a tough series. For sure 6 games, most probably 7. It's a tossup.
Yao guarded Boozer today quite well. For most of the game Boozer did nothing and was on the bench with foul trouble from trying to guard Yao. However, for some reason the Rockets kept letting Memo get open shots. That can't happen because Okur will hit them.
After yesterday's lose, I'm more sure that we CAN beat UTAH. Because we have 4 major weapons in T-mac, Yao, role players and our D. Yesterday we used 2 of the 4. (Yes, both T-mac and those role players had a off game.), and we losed only by 3. Normally, we use 3 of them in almost all the games. If we use all of the 4, it will definitely be a blow-out. That's to say, we had a 50% performance and Jazz win toughly. We all know what T-mac can do in the playoff, so no matter the homecourt advangtage, we'll put the Jazz in the hell.
Charles Barkley Strikes again. Charles:" I got a bit shocker tonight." ***Pause*** "If Dallas doesn't start playing better, Utah is going to upset them in the second round of playoffs."
Chuck's latest (at haltime of tonight's heat-Cavs game): "If Dallas doesn't start playing better, Utah will beat them in the 2nd round." He reiterates that he's been watching the Jazz lately and really likes them. Ernie mentions that Boozer had 21 and 21 last night. No one mentions that they lost to the Blazers. Though the Rox weren't directly mentioned, I'll say it again, those guys hate us.
We already have a thread for "Barkley's idiotic quotes relating to the Jazz and this years playoffs" http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=126253
u know thats not so hard to believe. utah probably has the best passing offense in the league while mavs focus mainly on one on one matchups. utah has a very systematic offense but it's hard to stop and dallas has been slacking on D lately. Kenny seemed to agree as well.
