Okay, let's pick a day. How does 2/22 sound? We could start showing up around noon and play until 5 or so? From what I've been told it shouldn't be too hard for us to have the court to ourselves the whole time. I think the only thing we have to work out is have a couple of UH students help get everyone in.

I can play that day. I will most likely have 1 or 2 people with me. Can an alumni get in? Any limit on # of guests for a student?

I don't think there is a limit on guests, as long as we have someone with a student ID to check them in and they pay the $5. I'm not sure how it works for alumni or UofH Clear Lake students. If anyone knows, please fill us in.

Well B already covered everything...but yes I believe it is a $5 or $6 charge to get in all day. There is so much else to do there, you may not want to leave when your done playing basketball. I work there in the weightroom on Saturdays from 10-3, so maybe I can get in a game or 2. If anyone has any questions about the Rec Center, I should be able to answer them......

Honestly, I am not sure. I dont think it is free, but you never know. I will ask tonight when I work. I know if you do have to pay, it is a greatly reduced rate.

If your coming from downtown, take 45 South towards Galveston. About 2 miles after downtown you will exit Cullen Blvd. Take a right, and drive a mile or two through campus. When you get to Wheeler St, take a left. Go down to your next light which is Calhoun, and take a left. After you take the left, at the right corner of the next light (U.H. University Dr.), is the Campus Rec Center. I think you can park on the weekends no problem, but during the week is another issue. If that isnt too clear let me know and I'll help.....

Summit, did we ever find out if each guest has to be accompanied by a student, or does there just have to be one student to let us all in? If the latter is the case, how are we going to do this, because it would mean that one or more of the students would have to go check the desk every once in a while to let us non-students in.

Maybe we could make a list of everyone who is confirmed and then we'll see who is and who isn't a U of H student. Maybe we can turn the list into whoever is working at the desk so we don't have to get the UH student in our group to check each of us in as we get there.

I know how to get there, I've been to the UH central campus plenty of times, except I just don't know where that place is.

Why don't we meet somewhere, and then all go in at the same time or something like that.

If anyone is interested we are playing Ultimate Frisbee this Sunday at 3pm on the UH Fields. They are easy to find, located right by the old Wendys that they took down. It is right on the 45 feeder road @ Cullen.

drop me an email if you are gonna play sonny@caminus.com
