Only time in the history of the National. Football. League. that the final score has been 31-5, Brian. Doesn't matter, Brian, Texans making history on and off the field. Notmyjerb.
Deandre is not better than Andre. I'd say our two best players are JJ and Molestor. Then Andre Arian.
Lmao, Watson is not over Andre. He had one elite season, with only 4 wins. One good season and one season that was solid. And an up and down rookie season.
" It's great that at least someone is doing something for the city...nawww but (awkward laugh )" Brandin Cooks when asked about the Astros.
Fields has been by far the worst of all the rookie QBs. Wilson not far behind him, outside of his game in London. Mills game against the Pats wasn’t “luck”. You don’t throw 3 TDs with a fourth dropped against Bill Belichick defense by luck. Mills has been pretty bad, Fields and Wilson have been worse. On better teams that are better coached. Edit: YPA for Wilson is 6.5, Fields is 6.2, Mills is 6.1 YPG Mills is better in every other statistical category…..by a lot.
Tyrod taking snaps from Mills and possibly winning a game or two are the two worst things that can happen for the future of this franchise.
Culley is paid to win games. Coaches get fired if they don't win. GM and ownership could tell him not to start Tyrod, but Culley alone isn't making that decision.
What else do you really want to see from Mills? What else can he show? If he needs elite protection, elite RBs, elite defense to be "good" then he aint it. Tyrod could very well be the QB1 for this team for the foreseeable future. He's head and shoulders better than Mills.
You are a whole hypocrite. You’ve been in game day forum making fun of people that have opinions on Green when he was playing like crap and saying to give it time. Making fun of Sengun and already made your decision on Mills. Freaking caricature.
And he has been absolutely terrible at it. I think Culley might be alone in making this decision. Specially with Nick scouting the all world DE out of Oregon last weekend.
Tyrod was always going to be a stop gap guy, hence the 1-year deal. Maybe we sign him to another but anything longer or more expensive is a risk given his injury history. Relying on him to be your QB1 for more than a season would be a misstep. As for Mills, I want to see more of everything honestly. Good or bad doesn’t matter. Need as many data points on him as possible.
i only say that cuz he plays a more important position. I'd take 1 good qb season over 10 wrs seasons.
Off the Mills train, honestly. It's hard to watch. None of his "measurables" that certain posters are talking about are translating to the football field. I wish Tyrod was more durable. Blowout loss after blowout loss with no real competitive edge can't be good for the team's bottom line (or my psyche). I'm just waiting for Lovie Smith to pull a Buddy Ryan and punch out Tim Kelly on the sideline. That would make games more interesting.
